As a national financial brand with a century-old heritage, Bank of Communications has always upheld its three cultural genes:National Finance, Pioneer of Reform, and Steady Sustainability, and is committed to building a brand culture that reflects the spirit of the times and its unique characteristics.
In 2018, Bank of Communications celebrated its110th anniversary. As one of China’s earliest four major banks and note-issuing banks, it is thefirst century-old national brand still operating in China’s banking industry.
GEIT has developed a tailor-mademobile banking product series for Bank of Communications, integrating mainstream Android tablets with mature mobile peripheral platforms to form a complete mobile financial business solution (referred to as theHandheld Terminal).
Designed and customized to industry standards, the handheld terminal integrates multiple functions:
· ID card reading
· WIFI / 4G communication
· Magnetic stripe card reading & writing
· Contact & contactless IC card processing
· PSAM card, secure PIN pad, fingerprint scanner
· Multiple expansion ports (USB, serial port)
· Support for Bluetooth printers and other peripherals
The solution has been fully deployed across Bank of Communications, effectively expanding the scope and reach of its mobile services and business processing, and strengthening the bank’s overall brand competitiveness.
As a portable mobile device, GEIT’s Handheld Terminal serves as a platform for customer managers and professional staff to conducton-site marketing, emergency approval, information inquiry, and mobile office work. Integrated with Bank of Communications’ self-developed MUIP mobile business platform and MDM security management tools, it continuously supports the development of the bank’s mobile services.
