GEIT Participates in Formulating National AI PC Standard

WUXI, CHINA – June 3, 2026– GEIT, a leading high-tech manufacturing enterprise with decades of industry experience, has served as a core drafting unit for the official national standard GB/Z 177.4-2026Intelligence Grading of Artificial Intelligence Terminals – Part 4: Microcomputers. Officially implemented in May 2026, this is China’s first national guiding standard exclusively dedicated to the intelligent grading of AI PCs.

Jointly issued by the State Administration for Market Regulation and the Standardization Administration of China, and under the administration of the National Technical Committee for Information Technology Standardization (TC28), the standard was co-developed with authoritative institutions including the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, China Software Testing Center, and top global tech enterprises such as Huawei, Lenovo and Xiaomi. The new standard fills the long-standing industry gap and establishes a complete L1-L4 hierarchical intelligence system covering perception, cognition, execution, collaboration and memory core dimensions.

It standardizes key technical metrics for on-device AI computing, local large model deployment and edge-cloud collaborative architecture, providing authoritative technical basis for product R&D, performance testing and market application.
