GEIT Secures Victory in Bidding for Hubei Rural Credit Union Smart Counter Project

Established on July 28, 2005,Hubei Rural Credit Union (HBRCU) provides management, guidance, coordination and professional services to rural commercial banks across Hubei Province.By the end of 2018, the province’s rural commercial banking system included 77 operational corporate entities, 2,142 service outlets and 33,500 employees, making it the largest banking and financial institution in Hubei Province in terms of network coverage, service scope and deposit-loan scale.

In this project, GEIT has delivered acustomized smart counter solution for HBRCU, featuring an integrated architecture ofSmart Counter + Cash Module + Document Module to support diversified business scenarios.By integrating cutting-edge financial self-service technology with high- and low-counter services, the system enables both cash and non-cash transactions, covering more than90% of over-the-counter businesses of HBRCU.

Throughhardware convergence, software integration, intelligent layout of service terminals and optimized business processes, the solution creates ahuman-machine collaborative, one-to-many assisted service model.It transforms HBRCU’s traditional teller-driven services intocustomer-centric self-service and semi-self-service, effectively diverting counter traffic, reducing manual operations, improving service efficiency and enhancing marketing capabilities and customer engagement.This empowers HBRCU to build new core competitiveness, achieve cost reduction and efficiency improvement, and maximize operational value.
