Recently, Jiangsu GEIT Industry Co., Ltd. successfully won the bid for the Centralized Selection and Procurement Project of Foreign Currency Self-service Exchange Machines of Industrial Bank. To implement the principles specified in the nationalOpinions on Further Optimizing Payment Services and Improving Payment Convenience—which include adhering to the principle of making progress while maintaining stability, fully considering the payment habits of different groups, retaining traditional service methods such as cash, passbooks and bank cards, and continuously maintaining, updating and upgrading service facilities like bank card acceptance terminals (POS machines) and automated teller machines (ATMs)—this project aims to enhance the bank’s foreign currency exchange service capabilities. Meanwhile, based on actual business needs, it provides Industrial Bank with an independently controllable financial service device that integrates high efficiency, convenience and intelligence.

The foreign currency self-service exchange machine developed by GEIT features a high-capacity banknote recycling module as its core component. It supports multi-language services and the exchange of mainstream foreign currencies, and integrates functions including automatic foreign currency exchange, currency authentication, secure storage, as well as serial number recognition and storage. The machine is suitable for scenarios such as international airports, import and export ports, foreign-related hotels, bank outlets, tourist attractions, large commercial centers and transportation hubs, meeting the needs of foreign visitors for RMB exchange.

The main functions of the product are as follows:
